As a teacher who went from teaching in the inner city to the burbs OMG OMG. My boy who still teaches in the inner city texted me the other day telling me he had a new student in class named Almighty Allah. I thought he was joking by that is the kids name. WTF. Anyway enjoy this video. "You done messed up AAARON".

Laughed my ass off when I watched this, but you cant hide from the critique of good intentioned but misguided causes people latch on to. I am looking at you Kony 2012 and so many others......

Warriors of the Rainbow: Seediq Bale

 I just watched this movie, Warriors of the Rainbow: Seediq Bale and let me tell you, I felt the whole gambit of emotions watching this thing. Everything about this movie is good, from the music, the cinematography, and the action.....woooowwww. When all is said and done, and you realize that this is based on actual events, it is even more surprising. There are some scenes that are hard to watch like women killing there children and then hanging themselves, but all in all I am still thinking about this movie, which says a lot about a movie.

The First Grader

I am kind of a sap when it comes to movies, anyway if you have the time watch the First Grader I think it is worth it. Have a happy memorial day......all I am gonna do is watch movies, each spicy chips and milk duds all day. Hooray for holidays.

OMG I was laughing so hard when I saw this I nearly peed my pants. OMG, OMG this video is just genius. As an African the questions I use to get when asked about home were ridiculous but I guess people just didn't realize just how ridiculous until you visualize it. I hope they do one about how we live on trees and use elephants for transport. GENIUS, dudes facial expressions are priceless.

I have no idea but we did, and don't lie to yourself, you did too.  Middle Belters (those of us from Southern Kaduna, Plateau, Kogi and so on who speak Hausa but are not ethnically Hausa) STAND TALL. I love it when people can remake a classic song, make it new/fresh but don't bastardize the original. Tawiah kills it. This is so beautiful.  Merry CHRISTmas everyone.
