Whatever happened to Caster.....

apparently she has been given to go ahead to run again and should be competing later in the summer. Those at the IOC should be ashamed on how all this was handled. Just think you live your life as a certain gender then that gender is challenged in the public and after months of "tests" you are told "our bad we just had to check". Emotionally I wonder how she is doing. (yeah i know its an old cover)

Media Bias

As a Nigerian, I catch a lot of shit about Nigerian internet scams. But look at this chart. You mean to tell me that 79.1% of internet scams are perpetuated by those in the west (read white countries). African countries (read black countries) perpetuate a total of 10% of the scams. But why does it seem like Nigeria is the biggest internet scamming country, when in reality it is America. WTF. To the rest of Africa sorry oh, because of that 10% Nigerians commit 8%.

On HIV/ AIDS

Images speak volumes. I don't have to tell you that HIV/ AIDS is ravaging many on our continent. Those of us who have been touched by this disease in one way or the other realize the truth behind this video. The availability of affordable medicine to people makes a hell of a lot of difference, but hey it is not profitable.

Ghana, Ghana, Here We Go. . . . .

I will be supporting Ghana like no other when they play Uruguay tommorrow, but as a Nigerian you only know what is to come if they win the game. Kai, add to that the Super Chickens Eagles have been suspended by the President. Walahi, we shall never hear the end of it. I am already seeing the headlines as the game approaches. Just like this one from the Guardian UK. . . . Ghana ready to fulfill their destiny: Denied a kick at the 1966 World Cup during their truly great years, the Black Stars are now aiming to put the rest of Africa to shame.
